Awsome Great News!
Some friends are coming for a last min visit! Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhh! We will have children in the house for a couple days! I love the sound of kido's. I can't wait until Paul and I adopt. All you people out there who complain about your kids have no idea how quiet and lonely a house is without them. Ok I'll get off my soap box. We are trying to get our pool up and running so maybe the boys can swim on Monday. I hope it works out. Ok so I am going to try to get my fathers day card made and up before they get here tonight around 10:00 for the Pink stamper challenge. I will get it up as soon as possible!
Hope everyone is having a great memorial day weekend! Mine is turning out to be pretty supper special!

Quick update
Well it is official. I am back to work full time now. Fortunately I will only be working 4 days a week. I am so thankful to have Fridays off.
Have you seen that My pink Stamper is giving away the Cricut Expressions. Go visit her link to see how to win. You can find here link on my blog. I am already thinking about a little project for my dad I may try to do.
I am working on a scrapbook for a baby. 8X8 with each page being a first. First hair cut, first tooth, first lost tooth, first ride in car. first Of each major Holiday. I will have a spot for one picture on each page and some decorations. If you have any ideas of some first please let me know. I don't have kids so I'm sure I will miss a lot of things. I only have 2 weeks to get this done....... So please help with ideas.
Well I have a lot to do and need to get to it. Hope everyone has a safe holiday weekend. Please say extra prayers for our military this weekend. They are such an important part of this country.

New Card "Shut up Joe"
Happy Friday everyone!
Ok I am usually not this rude. My husband asked me to make a card after golfing with Joe. It was only Paul's second time to go golfing and he kept missing the ball. I'm not saying that Joe made fun of Paul but apparently Paul was saying shut up a lot. Hince the Shut up Joe card. Hope Joe appreciates this card.
I used the Sports Mania Cartridge to make this one. And I used my software and the Don Juan to weld the letters together for the words. I drew stitches around the letters but it is hard to see that on this picture. The thinking of you is from the stampin up set Warmest regards. I used Stazon Timber Brown ink.

Little unwelcome visitor
Ok so I went into my craft room tonight to make a quick card for a friend who has had a rough week and low and behold when I opened my drawer at my cricut station to get out my cutting mat I found a bunch of torn up paper and matting stuffed in the drawer. Yes you guest it a mouse has decided to make his home in with my cricut items. I am not found of these little creatures even though they make cute cards they are not welcome in my space. War has officially been started. That little guy is going down. So needless to say It may be a few days before I get up the nerve to go back in there. My husband will have to show proof that the dead mouse is leaving the house in the trap that he set.
I love everything about living in the country but mice and snakes. If you have a story about the adventures of little mice and how you got them to go away please feel free to share.

Back Home
Well it has been a busy couple of days. We made it back from Tenn late last night. Wow what a trip. Rain leaving Nashville all the way to Decaturville where we went to church with some dear friends. Then when we got about 50 miles east of Little Rock we ran into more storms until about an hour on the other side of Little Rock. The rest of the trip was just long. But we made it home and are resting today and getting all those little things done. While I was on the trip My Pink Stamper put out a challenge to use Yellow, Brown and Green. I decided to make a thank you card for a dear friend at church who babysat our puppy and have used these colors. Hope it is not too late to enter the challenge.
I used the following to make this card:
Thank So Much - Stampin up stamp from Nice and Easy. I just used the words
Bone and Dog print Brads are from Micheal's.
The Dog was cut out at 3 inch from the Animal Kingdom Cartridge Page 128 Dog #5
The Ribbon - is 2 ribbons glued together
The Paper was stamped using ART GONE WILD- Cube #987 using Versa Mark ink.
Hope you enjoy.

Trip to Tennessee
Well I am now in AR heading toward Tenn. Looking forward to being with my family. It has been 5 years since we have all been together. My mom always says wedding and funerals are what brings us together since we are so spread out. I am dying to be in my craft room but have to wait until monday to get back to it. I thought I would post a scrapbook page that I did last year of my two nephews. It is probably way back on my blog somewhere but I just wanted to get something up today. I used the Winnie-the-pooh cartridge! I had to try the sample that they gave in the book because it looked so cute. I think it turned out pretty good!

Fun night out.
Sat night we got to go to The Ball Ranch with some friends from church. Ball Ranch is a dinner /show place. It was great BBQ and a fun show to follow with comedy and cattle songs. We had a great time and I made this card as a thankyou card to our friends for taking us. If you live in the Abilene Area and you haven't gone to the Ball Ranch you should go. I made this card using the Old West Cartridge. The thank you came from Stampin up Noteworthy.

Nurse Graduation Card
I made this card for another friend. The nurse was cut from Everyday Paper Doll at 4 inch. The stamp Congratulations is from Stampin up Warmest regards. I used my Peachykeen Everyday Character face Assortment 5/8 inch stamp. I love these stamps. Because I had the face stamp I cut the black out paper doll body. I get so much use out of the paper doll cartridges and can't wait for them to come out with another one.
Harding Graduation Card.
I made this card for a friend. Pluto was cut using my Mickey and Friends Cricut cartridge 3 inches. I used Everyday Paper doll to cut the hat and Diploma at 3 inches. I used the cuddlebug, Houndstooth embossing folder to emboss the background. I used the Congratulations stamp from Warmest regards. This was a lot of fun to make. I am loving the Mickey and Friends Cartridge. It is becoming my favorite.
Thinking of you card
