About Me

My photo
I live in Abilene, TX with my twin boys and husband. I love to make cards and scrapbook and want to learn to sew. I love God and want to serve him every second of my life. I love the fact that I can use cards as a ministry to encourage and brighten others days.

Thinking of you birdie

I decided to use some different colors on this one. I wish I could find a challenge using orange and pink. Strange colors but I think the card turned out ok.

Whale Wishes

I cut this wale from Create a Critter. I cut off the water that comes with it and used a stamp from stamin up to make the saying well wishes then glued it on. The sea weed at the bottom is also from the same stampin up stamp set. Not sure what is is called.

Dinner and Movie

This card I made to give to my husband for a free dinner and movie of his choice. I used the Mickey and Friends cartridge. I love the Disney cartridges but wow are they involved!

Howdy

This horse is from create a critter! I really am loving this cart. I know it is probably considered an old cart by now. LOL any way I was pleasantly surprised with how well this Howdy cut out. Hope you enjoy.

New Projects completed

This is a page I made from the ladies cookie exchange on valentine's day. I used the everyday paperdoll cricut cartridge for the Ragedy ann and Andy dolls. I used the From My Kitchen cartridge to make the cookies and ginger bread. I used the Simply Sweet for the letters and Doodlecharm's for the harts. It was fun using my faces from peachykeen on the dolls and on the gingerbread cookies. This was a fun time together with the ladies from church. The decorations were beautiful and made for a fun event to scrapbook.

Well this is the Thank you card I came up with for My hubby to send out to all those who helped him at camp. I got the Compass from My going placed Cricut cartridge. I chose this because they used the theme this year east to west. The T-shirts that they got had a compass on it so this card seemed fitting. So far I have made about 20. Will need to make a few more before the weekend is over.
