Moving in

Today I am unpacking and if I get enough done, than I may get to the craftroom. I am dying to make some cards. I have so many thank you notes to write. I am afraid I may miss someone. I ordered from Peechykeen some doll face stamps. I can't wait to get them and try them out. I am also way behind on some scrapbook pages I need to get done for my niece and another project I was working on for Paul's mom and dad. Not to mention I want to put some of my Christmas presents to work as well as my new cuddlebug and embossing dies. I hope to be posting on her more often from now on out and maybe I will get some more followers! Hope everyone has a great day!

Awesome Christmas thanks to my girlfriend nick I got 3 new paper packs and my sis in law got me some great stampin up things. Don't you love Christmas! Now I need to get home and pack so I can get to my new destination and use these wonderful gifts!

Update

WOW! it has been a long time since I have posted on here. I will be out of pocket until the first of the year. We are moving and will be down until we get internet again! But then I should have more time to post and make things yeah! Can't wait to be with our new family in Hawley, TX. They all seem very nice. I think Paul and I will be a great fit.

Work to be done.

Wow it is almost the weekend again. Where does the time go????? Well I have lots of other things that need to get done this weekend but I really need to spend some time working on some scrapbook things. I have to albums I am working on for other people and I really need to get busy on them. I mean can you get fired if you are doing them for free????? That would be really embarrassing. Plus I still have some more boxes of Junk (yes I am admitting it is junk) to go through in my craft room. My mom will be here in 2 weeks and I need my room cleaned so that she and I can play:)

Sign for work

who says you can't use your craft room for work as well. I pay a big role in our marketing at the office and so I came up with this idea to set a Menu sign outside the office. Here is a picture of it. It is drawing some attention.....that is what it is all about right?

I love mondays! I love Mondays! I love Mondays! Ok if I keep saying this maybe I will believe it:) Well here we are back to Monday again...... I didn't get much done in the craft room this weekend. I did get a few boxes emptied out and put away. I hope to get some time this week to get back to it. I still have some scrapbook pages to do for my neice. Maybe this is a good week to try to get the rest of my craft boxes cleaned out and this this weekend I can start working on the scrapbook. Have a great week!

Getting caught up on Callenges

Ok so today I have 3 challenges to get caught up on from the pink stamper blog this week. First I need to create something with school. I think I will try to make a card for Paul's parents with a school theme since they are both retired teachers. Then I will make a card with my favorite stamp set since the next challenge is somthing you love. I am not sure yet what I am going to do with something new. I am turn between water fall card and neverending card. Who knows maybe I will do both! Have a great day.

Weekend

Well I just read my post from last Monday. Needless to say things did not go at all as planned. So this weekend I am hoping to get my house put somewhat back together again. I also am hoping to spend Sat morning in my scrap booking room. I need to finish moving in to it and get everything set up so that it is very functional. My mom is coming in September and I think it would be fun to spend a day making things with her. I would also like to get caught up on the challenges from the pink stamper if I have the time. I still have to do the School challenge and favorite things challenge and then whatever the challenge is for today:_

ok there are not many but here are the cards that I made over the weekend. Of course I made multiple copies of each one. It was a lot of fun and I am glad to be getting back into the mode again.

The Pink Stamper challenge!!!!

This is my take on The Pink Stamper's challenge today. We are suppose to use a product that we had to have when we started scrap booking and card making. When I started I had to have the embossing boards and the stencil tools to make cards. I used the embossing board party and the I used celebration to make the Stars around birthday. I now remember after lots of hard work why I really need to get a cuddle bug to do this for me! This was hard work what was I thinking???

Weekend stampin

Well didn't get as much done this weekend as I had hoped but I got a few new cards done. Got to try the new Big Shot from Stampin up. Not sure that I liked it. I really like my Cricut and really want to get the Cuttlebug just to do the embossing. Anyone have any opinions on this?? Hopefully I will get the cards posted this week sometime. This is going to be as very busy week. Will be working on house every night to hopefully finally get everything in its place. Also hope to get my craft room put away and the rest of my stamps unmounted. DOES the WORK ever end??????

reaching goal

I have almost reached my goal of unmounting all my stamps. I have about 15 sets left to go. I have unmounted a total of 50 sets as of last night. I don't think I will have time to finish before my trip this weekend. 2 full days of card making. yeah!!!!!! Hopefully I will have some really cool fall things to show after my trip.

Sunday

Well its Sunday and that means back to work tomorrow. I wish my job was stamping all the time. There are truly not enough hours in the day. I have gotten 40 stamp sets unmounted. This is by far taking me longer than I thought. I still have 15 or 20 more to go. Not sure. I think I am going to like it.
Leaving Thurs for Dallas to stamp with my sister in law for a couple of days. Hopefully by the weekend I will have some new projects to display.

Well this is the Thank you card I came up with for My hubby to send out to all those who helped him at camp. I got the Compass from My going placed Cricut cartridge. I chose this because they used the theme this year east to west. The T-shirts that they got had a compass on it so this card seemed fitting. So far I have made about 20. Will need to make a few more before the weekend is over.
