About Me

My photo
I live in Abilene, TX with my twin boys and husband. I love to make cards and scrapbook and want to learn to sew. I love God and want to serve him every second of my life. I love the fact that I can use cards as a ministry to encourage and brighten others days.

Scrappy Scavengers Shimmering Shamrocks Blog Hop 3/13 - 3/19

/script>>Welcome to Scrappy Scavengers Shimmering Shamrocks Blog Hop!  If you have come from Anita's then you are on the right track.  If not then you should start at Tanya's   WOW what a crazy couple weeks around here.  I wasn't sure if I was going to make this blog hop.  Everything was on track.  I planned my project, and bought some more materials and planned on doing the project last weekend.  But,  we got the call that my DH mom was getting a liver transplant.  Great news!  Seeing how he had just talked to her and they had told her she was still probably 6 months away from getting a new liver and only 2 months to live.  She had the transplant and is doing well.  Still not out of the woods yet but so far so good.  Please Pray for her and her continue healing and also pray for the family who lost a love one that unselfishly donated a liver to save my mother in laws life.  Well I made it home and finished my project!  I hope you enjoy.  This is a page  I am adding to a  scrapbook I have been making for a dear friend of ours.  I am attempting to scrapbook events from the first year of her little girl's  life.  Some time in the near future I am hoping to post the whole book.  The requirements for this hop were GREEN AND BLING  Thank you Tanya for allowing me to play along.

Thank you for stopping by today.  Today's blog candy will be Ornate Blossom from stampin up.

I will be using Random.org to choose a winner.  All you have to do is follow my blog and leave a comment.  That's it, easy as can be.  Here is the line up just in case you get lost along the way.   Have a great week and don't forget to leave a way for me to get in touch with you in case you are the winner of my blog candy!
Thanks for hopping!

Another Halloween Card

Here is a card I made just messing around in the craft room.  I used Paper doll dress up to cut out the wagon and the ghost.  I used Fall Fun Pumpkins set from Peachy Keen for the pumpkins and the Cattails in the wagon.
