Stampin up, Country Time, sprinkles of Life, Marbled background and Happy Birthday Thinlits dies

Happy Sunday!  Hope everyone has had a good day.  I just wanted to post a quick picture of a simple card I made recently using the Stampin up set Country Time.  I really love this set.
This is a great masculine card.

I also made these two cards from Sprinkles of Life and the new in-colors at stampin up.

I recently got the Marbled background stamp from Stampin up.  Have you seen it?  It is really cool.  I used it and the Happy Birthday Thinlit Dies to make this card.  So fast and easy.
Well that's all I have for tonight.  I am loving being back to making cards.  They don't have to be complicated.  You just need to have a little paper and ink and a lot of love :)

Getting Caught up

Wow has it really been that long since I posted?  So much has happened,  We now have 14 year old twin boys and what a journey that has been.  We adopted them at age 9!  I am so thankful for my little (not so little now) family!  I am finally back into the routine of making cards and mailing them out.  Who knew that kido's could throw off your schedule so much.

This is the boys when we first adopted them!
This is a picture from this summer.  Boy how they have grown!

Here is a picture of a card I made for 4th of July this year.  I send out about 40 cards for each holiday.
This was a fun easy one to make.  I got the stamp from Hobby Lobby with my 40% off coupon.  I had the star punch from Stampin up.  The embossing folder I got a long time ago.  It is one of my favorites.  I was really happy with how this card turned out.  It brings me so much joy to send these cards out.
Well the boys are wanting taco bell for breakfast.  I better run and feed them.  I hope everyone has a blessed day :)

Thank you for all you wonderful comments and well wishes for my MIL she is doing very well. I believe in the power of prayer! She is out of the hospital but not home yet. She sends out cards to so many people. I am going to be working on making some cards for her to mail out to people. My 2 sister in laws make cards as well and we try to keep her in homemade cards but it is nearly impossible :) if you would like to encourage her and help us make some cards you can mail them to me and I will get them to her. This is her ministry and so many people benefit from her words of encouragement, birthday, anniversary wishes, sympathy cards. No matter what the occasion is she sends them out. Besides being a teacher she is also a ministers wife and has been such a bright light to so many people. My address is

Congratulations Mary! I will contact you by e-mail shortly to find out where you want me to send your new stamp to!
Also I am working on downsizing my scrap booking/card making stash and would like to know if you think it is a bad idea to offer giveaways of used items as long as they are marked as used? I know I wouldn't care if I won something used as long as it labeled as being used. Anyway would love your input on this.

Thanks,

Teresa

Peachy Keen Stamps :: Sketch Challenge 46

Today I made this card for my nephew using create a critter for the cow and the barn.  I used Old West Cartridge to make the sign.  I used the Hide contour feature to hide the word BARB -E-CUE.  I also used Wobbles to put the cow into motion.  I know my nephew is only 2 but I think he will have fun see this little cow wobble.  He lives so far away  I love talking to him on the phone.  The sentiment I love Moo is from My Pink Stamper More punny-licious  stamp set. The cows face is from Critter face set at Peachy Keen Stamps.  The cow is larger than life because it is for a 2 year old.  Just keep that in mind :)

Valentine Banquet

Happy Sunday Morning!  whew what a busy weekend this has been!  Friday night and Sat morning our church hosted a tele marriage Seminar.  It was great and believe me I was not in the mood for it, but glad we went. Then Sat evening we had a Valentine Banquet to honor the Widows of the congregation.  This was the first time for us to have it at this church.  We had 5 widows come out of 15.  I am so excited.  I just love this event.  Paul and I have been doing it for about 9 years now.  It is kind of our Valentine gift to each other.  Here is a picture of the invitation I made to invite them all.  I just love the peachy keen stamps and my cricut.  I can't imagine doing a project with out them.  My husband also got me 5 more cartridges.  $103 total shipping and tax.  Great deal over at custom crops!  Well I must run.  Got to leave for church in 20 mins.  Hope everyone has a blessed Sunday in Fellowship with your Christian family!

Throwback Thursday Challenge

For this weeks challenge we are suppose to use "Just Because" & "Wild Card" cartridges  & make sure your card has a "Stamped Sentiment" on it.  I don't have the "Just Because"  So I went with the "Wild Card"  I used the Tri-fold card and the bird and branch is also a feature on this cart.  The stamped sentiment is on the second leg of the tri-fold.  Not my favorite card but part of these challenges is thinking outside the box right?  Not to mention day 3 stuck inside and missing work all because of a little "ice".  Have a blessed day!

Throwback Thursday Challege over at My Creative Time with Emma

This challenge was to use one of the paper dolls and to use embossing.  I love these two cartridges.  You can do so many different things with them.  They have so many extras.  I chose to make this wedding cake card.  It looks much better in person.  I had a hard time getting the picture to come out.  This was a fun challenge to do.  When someone asks me what are the must have cartridges.  I would definitely choose these two :)  Hope you enjoy.

My Pink Stamper Birthday Challenge!

Hi Everyone!  Hope you are having a great weekend!  I am busy working on Christmas like everyone else.  I have projects going on all around me and am trying to finalize some of my gift giving ideas!  Always so many Ideas and never enough time to put them into action :)  If you having had a chance to see the wonderful Wagon my DH and i made for our nephews check it out here Cricut and Woodworking!  I used my cricut to cut out the letters that I used as a Template for the Blocks.  We are finishing up wagon number two hopefully this weekend for one of our Nephews for Christmas. 2 year olds are sooooo fun!  I hope to have some more projects in the near future that my husband and I do together.  It is so fun to mix our two hobbies.  Also if you haven't join the Peachy Keen Stamp Challenge #43 Please do so.  They are going to give away some copic markers if they have 100 entries so come on and lets break that 100 mark!
Here is my birthday card for the Pink stamper challenge.  I used Hoppy Birthday stamp from My Pink Stamper "Punny-licious stamps!  Don't you just love her stamps.  I hope to one day have them all.  I used several stamps from peachy keen to put the face on this little frog.  I think it turned out pretty good.  I used my stampin up markers and just colored the part of the stamp I wanted to put the smile and each eye on it.
Well my DH is waiting for me to get those letters cut out for the 2nd wagon so I must run!  Have a great weekend everyone!  Hope your Christmas plans are coming along because no matter what time is not standing still and Christmas will be here before we know it!
